20 Stocking Stuffers for Babies, Toddlers, Children, Tweens & Teens
Waking up to a stocking full of goodies has always been one of the things I look forward to most each Christmas. When I was little, I would wake up well before the sun had risen, grab my little brother and go through our stockings before heading back to bed for a couple more hours of sleep. I think my parents allowed us to peek at the contents of our stockings without them so that they could grab a few more uninterrupted hours of sleep. I love that it was a special tradition for just my little brother and me to enjoy together. It’s funny, I am still one of the first up on Christmas morning and there have actually been years where my husband and I have debated waking up our kids because we our so excited for the day ahead.
Sometimes Santa needs a little help filling all those stockings, so I have compiled a list of my favorite stocking stuffers for babies through teens. I have linked many of the ideas listed on this page to products that have been tested and approved by my own kiddos over the years. Many of these items would also be great for a small gift exchange. The best stocking stuffers are those items that are actually useful and a treat all at the same time. Check back next week to see my list of stocking stuffers for women and men.
Parenting Tip: Not sure where to store all those little toys that arrive in stockings and treat bags? When my children were younger I always kept a container like this in the backseat of the car. They were less likely to get bored with the toys and books inside because they were only for use in the car. It was also easy to grab just a couple of the items to help keep the kids occupied when the went out to eat at a restaurant.
